Inspiration-adoration

These are two young women, both musicians (one from the band Angelspit, the other her own solo project), whose aesthetic and fashion sense I love. Always fabulously attired and seeking to create a unique, fascinating, creative look.

Destroyx/Amelia Arsenic

Amelia the aesthete: cyberpunk, edgy, fetish, latex, PVC, vinyl, gigantic heels, impressive eyelashes and eye makeup, pirate theme, retro, rockabilly, amazing layering, mixing-and-matching, and accessorizing. Here are interview clips of her giving very good advice and info about herself and on alternative fashion, beauty, dressing how you want, walking in very high heels, etc.:

I love and am addicted to her blog www.destroyx.com.

Emilie Autumn

Emilie Autumn: pink, girl-goth, punk, fay, Victorian-/past-inspired, flowery, hearts, doll lips, ripped, tatters, Romantic, tea-stained corsets, stockings, lacy. Bloodstained bears, teacups, and hearts populate her delicate and psychotic world. Always love her lovely pink, garlanded, beflowered, piled-up, and elaborate hair.
I also remember seeing a show on HGTV, "Crafters Coast to Coast," where Emilie Autumn shows how to make fairy wings and sushi soap. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwBkN8dIfFU

Hope you enjoy these beauties creating unique looks for themselves as much as I do!

Oh, Edward Gorey

Hahaha.

The Recently Deflowered Girl by Edward Gorey

Um, I haven't figured out how to change the format yet (pictures are cut off), so you'll have to click "View Image" for each one to see the text on the right side.

Shoes for Targetting

Ellie - Annette

Anne Michelle
Possibly Pleaser or a knockoff of a Pleaser style?

Ellie - Doll

Ellie Penthouse - Kat

I love a lot of the Iron Fist shoes, like this one:

I'd buy up all of them if I could.

Demonia - Bravo

Demonia - Gothika

Ellie - College

Platform boots:

Demonia - Concord

Demonia - Trashville

And some expensive, unrealistic ones from Poetic License:

I'm trying to break myself into higher-heeled shoes (over 3") and get more into shoes in general. I've lined up all my shoes at the front door for all to see. It's already a nice sprightly little two rows. Now, I don't particularly like very high heels on shoes, because 1) aesthetically they just don't look as good to me, and 2) they're impossible to walk in. But I think I should just accept that a lot of things that would be cool have heels that are 4" or more, and get used to it and have fun with shoes instead of being an aesthetic puritan/purist.
